I tried rolling out some spherical beads and twisting them but that failed to function. Then I received the idea that if they ended up initially built into a 3-d disk bead that perhaps that might work. That appeared to be the response but the twist was a lot more intricate that I experienced assumed. I place my fingers on the glass Czech bead to get an plan of how to I would have to twist them. It was very awkward as the fingers on just about every hand would have to go in the reverse course. I persevered and the to start with established of beads I manufactured is in the picture under.
Considering that I did not just take into account that my clay shrinks 12% in the course of the drying and firing method, mine are instead more compact than the original strand but I am pleased to use them in some of my freeform peyote stitch work. I have a bracelet I am performing on that they would go nicely with.

I also designed some in blue and white to see how they would appear.
If I make additional of the blue and white beads I believe I will skip the white component and just have them in blue.
But the 1st set of beads– I am just nuts about the color and have been trying it on other pieces as well.

I was very delighted with how the higher than pendant arrived out and surprised how the colours had morphed during the glaze firing.
So I experimented with it yet again on a bigger piece and was extra than content with the end result
