MaryHardingJewelry Bead Blog: Ornament Blog Hop

Art Bead Scene is owning its 6th Yearly Ornament Web site Hop currently.  I have been seeking to make some Christmas Tree ornaments for many yrs now but just failed to get to them.  So this 12 months  I  set aside some time.  I made a decision to make them from porcelain clay and  use some of my individual texture stamps for decoration.   I seemed thru my stash of cookie cutters for a Christmas tree condition and uncovered a little a single as viewed  in the image above and went to do the job.  Since porcelain clay needs a slow drying time to avoid warping, I began function on these several weeks in the past.  I also wanted to make some larger trees for ornaments and discovered a design and style I liked in a steel cutter and built the following set of Xmas trees found under.

These have been also an experiment in glazing and I appreciate how the colors arrived out.

Future I wished to do a established of  photo transfers on to polymer clay.  I selected some Victorial Floral pictures for these trees observed down below.

These Victorian Floral impression ornaments can be hand coloured or still left black and white.  I like the high quality of the black and white so I have not colored them.

All of these ornaments I manufactured lend themselves to currently being hung on a tree or a wreath with a straightforward hook or ribbon.

I hope you will pay a visit to the other weblogs in this hop.

Thanks so for stopping by.
