As San Antonio prepares for its substantial Fiesta celebration — now 10 times absent — complimentary functions are cropping up all more than the town. One particular these kinds of event is as eco-acutely aware as it is modern. The Fiesta Sustainable Manner Show will take spot on Wednesday, March 23.

In its fifth year, the community event is a collaboration amongst Goodwill and students from Stevens Large Faculty. Led by Northside ISD instructor Christine Donovan, the show will curate additional than 20 2nd-hand appears to be by pupils in the school’s Entrepreneurship and Manner Program.

Donovan was the receiver of the 2021 Texas Vogue Awards Specialist of the Year award, is an Agosto Cuellar award-winning sustainable style designer, and serves as a Goodwill Shopper Encounter Supervisor. She has guided college students to think creatively when crafting their sustainable outfits.



Forward of the present, all taking part students volunteered at local Goodwill shops to study about sustainable vogue and retail. All appears to be like on the Goodwill runway will be out there to buy right after the show.
